Rod Peckham

Mr. Peckham has over 35 years of significant consulting, restructuring, diversified business, and professional experience, including hands-on operating executive and interim management roles. He has led projects in the U.S., Canada, Georgia, and Australia.

Mr. Peckham’s key career accomplishments include: serving as CFO and financial advisor to a large diversified hauling and infrastructure aggregate manufacture, ready mix supplier, hot mix asphalt producer and paving company located in central New York, leading the company through numerous asset dispositions and successful refinancing; serving as CFO of a records management and document destruction company located in Toronto, leading the company through a successful sale and recapitalization; leading the financial restatement and initial SOX implementation for the largest mobile telephone operator located in Tbilisi, Georgia; overseeing the assessment of internal controls for financial reporting, leading the budgeting and planning process, as well as profit improvement initiatives, for a widely recognized donut retailer; and assisting a $3 billion U.S. energy services company with the restatement of its financial reports.

At Carl Marks Advisors, Mr. Peckham has had direct, hands-on experience implementing financial and operational improvements for numerous companies across a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining CMA, he was CFO of SDI Media Group, Inc., a global provider of subtitling, dubbing, and other post-production services, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA., operating in over 30 countries, with 4 distinct regional financial offices.  At SDI, Mr. Peckham oversaw and led all financial aspects of the company and was responsible for communications regarding strategy, vision, and operating performance with the board of directors and lenders. Earlier, Mr. Peckham was a Senior Director of Zolfo Cooper, LLC, an independent provider of restructuring, financial, and corporate advisory solutions. Previously, he was Controller, Treasurer, CFO, President, and CEO of Forstmann & Company, Inc., a publicly traded marketer, and manufacturer of wool and worsted woven fabrics.

Mr. Peckham holds a BA from the University of North Florida, is a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), and a CPA (inactive).
