Mr. Kirkpatrick has served in various roles for numerous companies, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer, Corporate Controller, and Creditor Advisor. In these roles, he has been involved in refinancings, restructures, and M&A transactions. His wide spectrum of industry experience has included oil & gas services, steel, copper and chemical manufacturing, transportation and logistics, food production and distribution, entertainment (theme park), and business services

At Carl Marks Advisors, Mr. Kirkpatrick has worked closely with management, legal, and investment banking constituents to identify and implement profit restoration initiatives and restructurings, including M&A transactions.

Prior to joining CMA, he was CFO of PARC Management LLC, a nationwide operator of Theme Parks, with seven parks generating $120 million in revenues. There, his responsibilities included financial reporting, cash flow management, supervision of accounting, banking relationships, and audit relationships, plus involvement in the acquisition and operational integration of additional theme parks from Seven Flags.Previously, Mr. Kirkpatrick served as Corporate Controller of Griffin LLC, a $400 million global manufacturer and distributor of generic crop protection chemicals. He was responsible for all corporate accounting, financial reporting, and operational planning with functional reporting responsibility for four regional finance directors and six manufacturing controllers. Mr. Kirkpatrick’s early career in petroleum and chemicals included positions as Vice President, General Mgr, Controller, and Auditor in such firms as: Sun Chemical, Andarko Petroleum, Commonwealth Petroleum, and Panhandle Eastern Corp.

Mr. Kirkpatrick earned a BS in Accounting from East Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Tennessee.
