Mr. Barr works closely with company owners and management teams on mergers and acquisitions across a range of industries, leveraging his strong quantitative and analytical skillset.
Before joining Carl Marks Advisors, Mr. Barr interned at True North Strategic Advisors, a boutique investment bank, where he gained experience in valuation methodologies, financial due diligence, and the preparation of transaction materials. He also completed internships in private equity, venture capital, commercial banking, and real estate, further broadening his financial expertise.
Mr. Barr holds a MFA in Finance from Indiana University and dual undergraduate degrees in Finance and Risk Management from Butler University.
