CMA was retained by the company to provide a systems assessment for SDI Media related to implementation of Navision enterprise software system.

As part of the engagement, CMA performed an evaluation of the Proof-of-Concept (“POC”) related to the SavvionBusiness Process Management (“BPM”) proposal selected by SDI.

Engagement Highlights

  • Evaluated the Proof-of-Concept, including reviewed appropriateness of the Savvion solution choice against the other products under consideration. Assessed functionality, pricing proposals and  all phases of the project proposal including USA and European projects.
  • Performed a cost benefit analysis to identify which software solution would provide the greatest long-term satisfaction, highest value and most flexibility.
  • Provide insight for how to evaluate project plan for feasibility of success (including timing, resources, and cost expectations) and worked with the Company to minimize execution risk.
  • Identified potential gaps in the proposed execution of the plan with recommendations intended to address these gaps.
  • Estimated Total Cost of Ownership (“TOC”) for the BPM system and recommendations intended to optimize cost.
  • Reviewed the overall Integration Strategy being prepared by SDI for all systems (global view) including the effectiveness of proposed strategy and identified areas of improvement and potential gaps in the proposed strategy. Developed alternatives intended to address identified potential issues.
  • The implementation included Microsoft Navision Enterprise (“NAV”), Track-It Project Management Software and Great Plains Financials.
