NEW YORK – February 27, 2024Carl Marks Advisors, a leading investment bank providing financial and operational advisory services to middle market companies, has been awarded Distressed Deal of the Year at the 15th Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by Global M&A Network, LLC. In addition, Carl Marks Securities LLC won Metals Deal of the Year, while Director Michael Gordon was honored as a 2023 America’s Rising Star Dealmaker.

The Americas M&A Atlas Awards, presented at a gala held on January 30, recognize the achievements of influential dealmakers and leaders, outstanding firms, and the best growth-delivering transactions of the year. During the awards ceremony, Carl Marks Advisors won Distressed Deal of the Year for the sale of Nova Wildcat Shur-Line Holdings (H2 Brands) to Gordon Brothers Commercial and Industrial and Nations Capital. The firm’s broker-dealer affiliate, Carl Marks Securities LLC, was presented with the Metals Deal of the Year award for the sale of Roane Metals Group to Commercial Metals Company.
