Mr. Ryan’s career spans 30 years and includes financial and operational roles of increasing responsibility with various industrial businesses. He has spent 20 years working with companies that make, buy, machine, fabricate or otherwise process ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In addition to running a successful specialty metals manufacturing business as a principal, CFO and operating executive, he has utilized his entrepreneurial and leadership skills to lead turnaround efforts, integrate acquisitions, manage change and drive business process improvement initiatives across a diverse array of companies.
Mr. Ryan has worked with various businesses ranging in size from start-up to $2.6 billion with public and private ownership. He has managed organizational teams and projects in the power generation, defense, oil & gas, transportation, construction, and medical device sectors. His representative experience has included a leading OEM of large power transmission equipment, a contract machining business of hip and knee joints, a forging and machining business in the power generation and defense space, and a variety of casting, forging tooling, and value-added processors in the metals space.
Mr. Ryan has represented debtors and creditors as CRO and lender advisor performing business plan assessments, operational and financial restructuring planning, and turnaround management. He has served as CRO, CEO, CFO and VP, as well as VP and GM of a manufacturing business of engineered specialty metal components for applications in defense and power generation.
Mr. Ryan holds a BS in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is ASQ Certified in Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis.
