Mr. Bagley has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, operations management, profit improvement, and interim management roles. He focuses on identifying strategic opportunities, creating business plans, restructuring, and conducting assessments for a variety of companies and industries, including hospitality and restaurants.
Highlights of Mr. Bagley’s experience include: developing a comprehensive assessment and restructuring plan for the largest privately held assisted living healthcare group in the Midwest; restructured $50 million of debt and, as the company diversified its holdings as part of the restructuring plan, developed a comprehensive reporting structure for bank and investor oversight; conducted an assessment of a $30 million restaurant group (including video gaming facilities) and developed a restructuring process; dealt with startup regulatory issues and negotiations for a restaurant franchisor as part of a turnaround effort; working with management and the lender, developed business and implementation plans to take a $65 million specialty giftware wholesaler, losing $3 million a year, to a $40 million company making $2 million annually in six months; kept a financially strapped 90-unit fast food franchisee out of bankruptcy despite years of losses in new territories, and $30 million of its debt serviced by only $500,000 of EBITDA; and negotiated the restructuring of the entire $70 million of debt with the national bank group, right sized the company and within three years the franchisee was awarded Franchisee of the Year by the Franchisor.
Mr. Bagley earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
