Job Summary

Summary: Looking for a motivated, self-starter who enjoys solving difficult financial and operational business issues.  As a Director, you will be a key team member, having leadership responsibility within the firm and with engagement teams, able to work closely with other senior professionals and develop junior staff.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to lead engagement teams, handling both the execution of the project and client interface
  • Analyze and assess financial performance of clients and identify areas to drive financial performance
  • Ability to mentor and work with junior staff on key analysis, for example; financial modeling, liquidity management, profit improvement initiatives, restructuring proposals, etc.
  • Ability to serve in leadership roles within clients’ companies, for example; Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Financial Officer and other interim positions as necessary.
  • Draft and participate in the preparation and presentation of client reports


Technical Skills

  • Strong corporate accounting expertise
  • Proven financial modeling skills, including integrated model (IS/BS/SCF/Debt)
  • Ability to efficiently distill large amounts of data
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to prepare effective presentation materials
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Soft Skills

  • Dedication to marketing and relationship development
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a lean-team, results-based, interactive environment
  • Ability to successfully interact with all levels of constituents and stakeholders
  • Comfortable organizing, synthesizing, and presenting data to team members and/or clients
  • Ability to quickly grasp understanding of client operations/processes/business objectives
  • Comfortable in challenging and turbulent client situations
  • Ability to work under deadlines, prioritize and multi-task
  • Appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Proven exemplary work ethic and ability to complete tasks with limited supervision

Work Experience

  • 9+ years’ work experience in accounting, corporate finance, restructuring advisory and/or management consulting.
  • BA or BS in accounting or finance
  • Working toward or already have professional designations, e.g., CPA/CFA
  • No relocation provided. Local candidates with direct experience will be given preference
